The Spinato's
Experience Dinner

The Spinato’s Experience Social Campaign was a two-month engagement initiative designed to connect with our community and showcase the intentional choices behind the Spinato’s experience. Through weekly posts, we highlighted the care and thoughtfulness that goes into every aspect of our restaurant, while inviting guests to share their own stories and perspectives. This campaign reinforced our message of heartfelt hospitality across social channels, and it concluded with a memorable, intimate dinner. Six lucky participants were selected for a special evening with the Spinato family, where we treated them to the original Spinato’s experience. Hosted in our kitchen dough room, the dinner gave us the chance to spend quality time with some of our longest and most loyal guests, sharing stories, laughter, and the deep connections that make Spinato’s so special. It was a heartfelt celebration of the relationships we've built over the years, reminding us all of the true meaning of community.

The Social Campaign

The “Spinato’s Experience” social campaign is built around the idea that Spinato’s is about more than pizza. It invites guests into the family story behind the brand and gradually reveals what truly makes the restaurant special. The campaign frames Spinato’s as a place of connection, rooted in family traditions, hospitality, and shared experiences, rather than just food.

The first focus is ambiance, highlighting how every detail of the restaurant environment is intentional. Music, design, and hospitality are all carefully curated to create a welcoming, home-like feeling inspired by Ken Spinato’s memories of preparing the house for guests as a child. This establishes that the guest experience begins the moment someone walks through the door.

The second focus is the dough, presented as the literal and symbolic foundation of Spinato’s. The campaign emphasizes care, patience, and quality through the story of perfecting the crust, the use of locally sourced flour, and the dedication required to get it right. This reinforces the idea that the same attention given to food is reflected in every part of the business.

The third focus is the sauce, which connects Spinato’s to its Chicago tavern-style roots. This post shares the history behind sweet pizza sauce, how it evolved in the Midwest, and how the Spinato family refined it over time. It highlights food as a way traditions are preserved, adapted, and passed down.

The fourth focus is on details and consistency. This section underscores respect for the guest’s time and the importance of delivering the same quality experience at every location. It highlights the people behind the scenes, their techniques, and their commitment to making each pizza feel familiar and reliable.

The fifth focus centers on memories. Here, pizza is positioned as a reason to slow down, gather, and reconnect. The campaign reflects on celebrations, milestones, and everyday moments that happen around the table, reinforcing Spinato’s role as a backdrop for meaningful life experiences.

The final announcement ties everything together by revealing that the true secret ingredient is not any single element, but the Spinato’s Experience as a whole. The campaign concludes by celebrating guests who engaged throughout the series, reinforcing the idea that Spinato’s is about community, family, and creating lasting memories every time someone walks through the doors.
