Stein Holding Competition

Four Peaks launched a full-fledged, officially sanctioned steinholding tournament in partnership with the U.S. Steinholding Association—created from the start as a serious, statewide competition rooted in the traditions of Oktoberfest. Designed to test strength, stamina, and spirit, the tournament followed strict official rules and featured divisional rounds hosted at on-premise accounts across Arizona and the Four Peaks pub in Tempe. It wasn’t just about the competition—it was also a way to bring something fun, energetic, and uniquely engaging to our accounts and guests across the state.

Each event built anticipation and brought communities together, culminating in a high-stakes final at the Four Peaks Oktoberfest celebration at Tempe Beach Park. There, divisional winners competed for the title of Arizona steinholding champion and a $5,000 grand prize. The tournament became more than a contest—it was a celebration of beer culture, community connection, and an unforgettable way to elevate our on-premise partnerships and pub experience.
