Wilson Taproom Remodel

When we first took on the remodel of the Wilson Taproom, the space was stark and industrial, with sterile grey walls that stripped away any sense of warmth or personality. With a budget of $40k and a timeline of just two months, we knew we had to make impactful changes that would completely transform it into a welcoming and functional environment for both guests and staff.

The transformation was about balance; creating spaces that felt both cozy and modern, while maintaining the functionality necessary for a taproom and catering. We revamped everything from the furniture to the layout, introducing community areas where guests could connect and relax. We also incorporated lounge spaces to encourage longer visits, complete with comfortable seating and a warm, inviting ambiance. Every corner of the taproom was thoughtfully designed to offer not only a place to enjoy a beer but also unique photo hop inspired photo wall that would highlight the lively energy of the space.

A standout feature of the remodel was the creation of an art wall that reflects the diversity and creativity of our team. We invited our staff to contribute their own interpretations of our beer bottles, each painting showcasing different artistic styles and perspectives. This not only added a personal touch to the space but also kept the taproom on brand by celebrating our products in a way that felt authentic and connected to the people who create them. The art wall became a visual focal point, sparking conversation and offering a vibrant, ever-evolving display of creativity.

To further enhance the functionality, we streamlined the back-end organization, making it easier for staff to serve and manage events. We also focused on adding the necessary infrastructure for catering, ensuring the space could accommodate larger groups and private events. In just two months, we were able to turn the sterile, industrial environment into a dynamic and versatile taproom that reflects both the spirit of the brand and the community it serves. The remodel has completely elevated the guest experience, offering a space that’s as functional as it is beautiful.
